Educational purpose

Quranic Arabic is a free learning aid for understanding the vocabulary of the Quran. It is not a replacement for learning from qualified teachers or for scholarly works of tafsir.

Translations and meanings

Verse translations and word-by-word meanings are human interpretations of the meaning of the Arabic text. They are provided by the sources listed on the About & Credits page and remain the work of their authors.

Recitation feedback

Recitation feedback is generated automatically by a speech-recognition model. It estimates which words were recited and can make mistakes. It does not evaluate tajweed and should not be relied on to verify correct recitation.

Acceptable use

• Use the app for personal, non-commercial learning.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the service or the third-party services it relies on.

Content ownership

Quran text, translations, audio recitations, fonts and the speech model belong to their respective owners and are used under their terms. See About & Credits.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss arising from its use, including loss of progress stored on your device.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
